Meet Current Scholars

The first 17 Memphis Act Six scholars represent the very best emerging urban leadership that Memphis has to offer.  They represent the following ethnic distribution:  11 African American, 2 Hispanic, and 4 Caucasian. While 76% of scholars are the first in their family to go to college, they are defying the odds with an incredible 94% retention rate!
